Regular price Dhs. 72.00 Save Dhs. -72.00Seachem Matrix is a high porosity biomedia that provides efficient biofiltration for the removal of nitrogenous waste. Matrix is a porous inorganic solid about 10 mm in diameter. Each liter of Matrix provides as much surface (>~700 m2) as 170 liters of plastic balls! Plastic bio-materials provide only external surface area, whereas Matrix provides both external and internal macroporous surface area. These macropores are ideally sized for the support of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. This allows Matrix, unlike other forms of biomedia, to remove nitrate along with ammonia and nitrite, simultaneously and in the same filter. Matrix is completely inert and will not breakdown. It need not be replaced. Since the majority of the bacteria are internal, Matrix may be rinsed when needed without damaging the filter. Matrix is compatible with all types of wet or wet-dry filters.
Directions: Use 250 mL of Matrix for each 200 L (50 US gallons)** of water. Matrix may be placed in any kind of filter, and is particularly effective in a canister filter. Matrix is sufficiently large that no filter bag should be required for most applications. Matrix works well in drip tray systems, but you may find that the larger Pond Matrix is better suited for such applications. Use with Stability to more rapidly establish the bio-filter.
**This dosage may differ from your packaging. Based on updated studies, we've found Matrix treats even more water than previously asserted.

Seachem Phosguard
Regular price Dhs. 37.00 Save Dhs. -37.00Seachem PhosGuard rapidly removes phosphate and silicate from marine and freshwater aquaria. Although PhosGuard is effective in both fresh and marine water, it will operate better in sea water and the need for it is better defined in sea water. It is not recommended for phosphate buffered freshwater (PhosGuard would remove the buffer until saturated). PhosGuard is highly porous and bead-shaped to promote easy water flow through and around it, thereby increasing both its efficiency and capacity.
Directions: May generate heat on initial contact with water. Pre-wet by adding to a double volume of freshwater, followed by a rinse. For best results, PhosGuard should be rinsed before use and placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it but not so that it tumbles against itself in flow. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Use of a filter bag is recommended. Use 85 mL (1/3 cup) for every 200 L (50 US gallons) saltwater or 400 L (100 US gallons) freshwater. Leave product in place for 4 days, then test phosphate or silicate concentrations with either MultiTest Phosphate or MultiTest Silicate. If the concentration of the component you are trying to decrease has not dropped to around 0.02 mg/L, then replace the PhosGuard, otherwise leave in place until levels begin to climb again. As long as concentrations remain under control, the product is not exhausted. Over treating is not recommended. PhosGuard is not an exchange resin and does not release anything into the water. It does not leach phosphate or silicate back into the water and may be removed, dried, and returned to service until exhausted. Continuous use of small quantities is better than intermittent use of larger quantities.

Seachem PhosNet
Regular price Dhs. 108.50 Save Dhs. -108.50Seachem PhosNet is a granular ferric oxide (GFO) with high porosity, high surface area and high binding capacity. It will rapidly remove phosphates and silicates from both freshwater and saltwater and will not release them back into your aquarium. It exhibits stronger binding than most competing products and consequently can reduce phosphates and silicates to very low levels. PhosNet also offers less dust and thus is easier to use than most competing GFO products.
Directions: For best results, PhosNet should be rinsed before use and placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it but not so that it tumbles against itself in flow. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Use of a filter bag such as The Bag is recommended. Use 50 g (1/2 cup) for every 200 L (50 US gallons) saltwater or 400 L (100 US gallons) freshwater. Leave product in place for 4 days, then test phosphate or silicate concentrations with either MultiTest Phosphate or MultiTest Silicate. If the concentration of the component you are trying to decrease has not dropped to around 0.02 mg/L, then replace the PhosNet, otherwise leave in place until levels begin to climb again. As long as concentrations remain under control, the product is not exhausted. Over treating is not recommended. PhosNet is not an exchange resin and does not release anything into the water. It does not leach phosphate or silicate back into the water and may be removed, dried, and returned to service until exhausted. Continuous use of small quantities is better than intermittent use of larger quantities.

Its high porosity and surface area give it a large binding capacity, while its physical strength and integrity assures that it will not break down from mechanical stress.
Directions: For best results, PhosBond should be rinsed before use and placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it but not so that it tumbles against itself in flow. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Use of a filter bag such as The Bag is recommended. Use 60 mL (1/4 cup) for every 200 L (50 US gallons) saltwater or 400 L (100 US gallons) freshwater. Leave product in place for 4 days, then test phosphate or silicate concentrations with either MultiTest Phosphate or MultiTestSilicate. If the concentration of the component you are trying to decrease has not dropped to around 0.02 mg/L, then replace the PhosBond, otherwise leave in place until levels begin to climb again. As long as concentrations remain under control, the product is not exhausted. Over treating is not recommended. PhosBond is not an exchange resin and does not release anything into the water. It does not leach phosphate or silicate back into the water and may be removed, dried, and returned to service until exhausted. Continuous use of small quantities is better than intermittent use of larger quantities.
Delivery Timings:

Dubai: "Next Day" Delivery applies only to orders placed before 4pm from Monday to Thursday. Orders placed after 4pm cannot be guaranteed for "Next Day" delivery and will be re-scheduled to the following day. We will always try our best to get your order delivered as quickly as possible. Any orders received Friday to Sunday will be delivered on the following week.
Sharjah & Ajman: We endeavour to ship all orders promptly and as quickly as possible. Deliveries within Sharjah & Ajman are delivered within a maximum of three (3) working days. We always try to deliver as quickly as possible.
Abu Dhabi: We endeavour to ship all orders promptly and as quickly as possible. Deliveries within Abu Dhabi are delivered within a maximum of five (5) working days. We always try to deliver as quickly as possible.
Other Emirates: We endeavour to ship all orders promptly. Deliveries to other Emirates (not including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman) are received within seven (7) working days.
Delivery Charges:
Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman: “Free Delivery” is applicable for orders over AED150 that are being delivered to your home or office address, subject to availability of the item(s) you have ordered.
For orders valued below AED150, delivery charges apply. Delivery fees are AED40 (applicable to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman).
Other Emirates: “Free Delivery” is applicable for orders over AED150 that are being delivered to your home or office address, subject to availability of the item(s) you have ordered.

All orders placed in this web shop are subject to product availability and will be delivered according to our delivery terms. If there are any problems regarding your order, we will notify you using the telephone number or e-mail address you have provided with the order. On the rare ocassion items may not be in stock due to manufacturer delays or shipping delays. You will be notified of any delay.
We will happily refund or exchange any items that are damaged or defective upon opening the packaging. If you have found the product has a defect or is damaged, please take photographic evidence and send to us within 48 hours of receiving the item.
ALL refunds will be given with store credit.
Credit refunds are only possible for damaged or defective products and will only be available after goods have been returned and inspected and will be in the original mode of payment.
If you wish to return any product that has been incorrectly purchased, please contact us within seven days at info@equestri-online.com. Return requests received after the seven day window will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Delivery charges are non-refundable and the cost of returning incorrectly purchased products is the responsibility of the customer.
We do not accept product returns if:
- Products have been altered in any form their original purchase
- Tags and labels have been removed or if original packaging is not available
- Items have been used
- Items that have been purchased on sale or promotions
Any consumables like Food, treats, supplement or medication product returns must be unopened, in original packaging with no defects and should have at least 6 months validity to be considered for return by us.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any returned items if the product has been used or tampered with.
Please give us some time to process your return/exchange. It takes about 1-2 business days for us to receive the returned or exchanged product(s) back from you. Within 72 hours of receiving the item back in our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail and a credit note that reflects that the amount has been credited into your account. Please allow for up to 21 days for the refund transfer to be completed.
Cancellation Policy
Customers can cancel their order at any point unless the order has already been dispatched, in which case, please refer to refund policy.
Lost or Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that any goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately via email to info@equestri-online.com. In the case of non-delivery please wait seven working days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the goods, please take photographic evidence and send to us within 48 hours of receiving the item. Upon receipt we will arrange for the damaged or faulty goods to be exchanged or we will provide a store credit of the cost of the goods.
