This is especially of importance to purely insect-eating birds. Topinsect generally uses house crickets, banded crickets and field crickets that are nurtured on a mixture of grains without any added growth promoters or chemicals. JurassiFruit Strawberry
Regular price Dhs. 31.50 Save Dhs. -31.50JurassiFruit is an all natural scented appetite stimulator. Our research has shown that many reptiles, primarily herbivores, are attracted to natural fruit scents/odors. Simply spray JurassiFruit onto any food item to elicit a feeding response. Ideal for all reptiles, especially herbivores (tortoises and iguanas). Available in strawberry and banana scents. To renew the interest of finicky carnivores, try our garlic-based JurassiGuard.
JurassiFruit can be particularly helpful in getting hatchling tortioses and bearded dragons onto more comprehensive pelleted diets such as the JurassiDiet range of pelleted foods, which contain a broad spectrum of all the important components needed in a reptile diet: protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. JurassiDiet also contains probiotics, which reduce waste and benefit nutrient uptake as well as the immune system.
While strawberries and bananas may be a delicious treat for your animal, they don't necessarily have a lot to offer in terms of nutritional value. Strawberries have a Ca : P ratio of 0.8 : 1 and bananas have a ratio of 0.3 : 1. Too much of either could easily throw off the proper 2 : 1 Ca : P ratio in your animal's diet. Because JurassiFruit has only the scent and flavor of strawberries and bananas, spraying JurassiFruit on highly nutritious foods is a good way to give your animal a treat while not adversely impacting their diet. Conversely, you could try dusting strawberries with JurassiCal.
Directions: Spray food before feeding. When spraying pelleted diets, let food soak for 3 minutes and then feed. There is no danger of overdosing so use as liberally or sparingly as you find best suits your animal.

Did You Know?
The mealworm beetle (Tenebrio molitor) is a species of darkling beetle or Tenebrionidae. The four life-stages of this insect are: beetle - egg - larva - pupa. The beetle is not as well-known as his larva (mealworm). The latter is considered both a plague insect and an important food source for birds, reptiles and especially captive animals. Only the larval stage of this species is sold as a food source on a large scale, while the beetle is less suited for this purpose but still accepted as feed by reptiles and amphibians. Beetles can easily be grown by letting the worms pupate.

Topinsect Frozen Buffaloworms 1L (425g)
Regular price Dhs. 133.50 Save Dhs. -133.50Buffalo worms are the larvae of Alphitobius Diaperinus and are very nutritious due to their high protein and low fat percentages. These worms are rather tasty with a nutty flavour, and especially smaller birds are mad about them. Buffalo worms are also softer than mealworms and are therefore easily digestible. These frozen buffalo worms are fed on a mixture of grains and vegetables without any added growth promoters or chemicals. They are boiled and then undergo a shock freezing process which gets rid of all bacteria and they become virtually sterile and makes them easier to digest.

JurassiFruit Banana
Regular price Dhs. 30.50 Save Dhs. -30.50JurassiFruit is an all natural scented appetite stimulator.

JurassiDiet Bearded Dragon
Regular price Dhs. 23.00 Save Dhs. -23.00JurassiDiet Bearded Dragon Formula is THE premium food for bearded dragons. It contains only the highest quality ingredients without low nutritional value fillers like soy or corn meal, which can impair calcium absorption. It contains a broad spectrum of all the important components needed in a bearded dragon diet: protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. JurassiDiet also contains probiotics, which reduce waste and benefit nutrient uptake as well as the immune system. Also try our JurassiDiet EasiDragon dragonfly larvae. The Ca : P ratio should be no less than 1.2 : 1 , and is ideally maintained from 2 : 1 up to 8 : 1 depending on the species; but competing foods contain at least one of the following poor calcium sources: corn, wheat, or soy. Corn has a Ca : P ratio of 1 : 33, wheat has a Ca : P ratio of 1 : 10, and soy has a Ca : P ratio of 1 : 2.5. Furthermore, not only are corn, wheat, and soy not beneficial, they are actually harmful to your animals. They contain oxalates and phytates, which bind to calcium, thus preventing the calcium from being utilized. JurassiDiet distinguishes itself from the competitors by employing a calcium rich base, alfalfa. Alfalfa has a Ca : P ratio of 6 : 1.
Directions: Feed daily as much food as the animal will consume in one feeding (1 hour). If extra food remains, then feed less. If all the food is consumed, increase amount daily until extra food remains.
