Dymax Denitrator XD-600
Regular price Dhs. 556.50 Save Dhs. -556.50Dymax Denitrator XD-600 is an easy to install, self siphoning, denitrator for internal and external use for reef aquariums up to 600 liters in size. Inside every normal working aquarium fish and uneaten food produce waste which breaks down to form Ammonia. Ammonia in high amounts is highly toxic to most fishes. In nature, the volume of water per fish is extremely high, so waste products become diluted to low concentrations. In aquariums, however, it can take as little as a few hours for ammonia concentrations to reach toxic levels. The Dymax Denitrator XD-600 provides an excellent biological denitrification effect to eliminate the nitrates through the presence of the micro-organism (bacteria), which is currently one of the best fighter against the nitrates. The natural reduction of nitrate to nitrogen gas will only occur if there is an area within your system with a very low oxygen level that will allow anaerobic bacteria to exist in sufficient quantities to handle the waste that is being produced by your tanks inhabitants, such as within live rock or in a deep sand bed. Where this does not exist it is necessary to create such an environment and this is where denitrification reactors like the Dymax Denitrator XD-600 come in to play.

Many marine organisms extract calcium from the water in order to build their shell or skeleton. In an aquarium, especially in a reef tank, it is often difficult to keep an acceptable and regular calcium rate. The DYMAX Calcium Reactor is currently one of the most effective means to produce and maintain a permanent optimum rate of calcium. By this innovative system, minimum amount of CO2 is used and injected into the reactor to produce the optimum diffuse of carbonic gas into water and acidifies the water within the reactor, which hence provides a dissolution of chalky calcium substrate. Suitable for both internal or external use. There are two models available: Dymax Calcium Reactor XC-600: max. capacity 600 litres. Dymax Calcium Reactor XC-900: max. capacity 1200 litres.
