The Mikki Hard Pin Slicker comes in three head sizes - small, large and extra large - and is designed for thicker and more dense coat types. This slicker brush has specially shaped slicker pins which are mounted on an air cushion to enhance the grooming action and reduce any excessive brushing force. The pins are designed to be used with a soft stroking action, enabling the shaped stainless steel pins to ease tangles and matts and remove loose and dead hair from the undercoat, leaving the main coat clean and healthy. Regular grooming will help give your pet a shiny, healthy looking coat. N.B. Slickers are not suitable for “corded” coats (Puli, Komodor etc). Use the slicker as a weekly maintenance grooming tool.

The Mikki Matt Master is an easy tool for the efficient removal of matts and tangles in fine and medium coats. The Matt Master features micro-serrated, stainless steel blades that are shaped for an optimum cutting effect with rounded ends for safety – ideal for first time de-matters. Always first use a comb or brush to help locate genuine matts. The Matt Master requires short, progressive strokes. Do not force the Matt Master as this is ineffective and will cause discomfort to your pet. With very dense matts use a sawing motion by rotating the twist. When clearing a matt hold the hair close to the roots to avoid lifting the skin. Towards the end of the grooming session when you can pass the Matt Master through the coat in long strokes to keep it parallel to the skin and avoid plucking upwards.
